Job Description

Mirantis is looking for a talented Systems/DevOps engineer, will join our product team (MOSK) and will be designing, implementing, deploying and testing cloud infrastructure products on top of open-source components.Mirantis OpenStack for Kubernetes (MOSK) combines delivery and management of Kubernetes clusters with the industry standard OpenStack APIs, enabling you to build your own cloud infrastructure.MOSK product documentation - https://docs.mirantis.com/mosk/25.2/overview.html ResponsibilitiesDeploy, test, and evaluate Mirantis K8S-related productsManage and maintain bare metal test environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructures.Evaluate and evolve best practices for production bare metal environments configuration and deployment.Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management tasks. Participate in designing and developing of CICD tooling.Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.Work with the geographically distributed team in a dynamic Agile environmentHelp with customer issues resolutions

Qualifications

At least 3 years of practical experience in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) as a server platform. Deep understanding of OS, ability to debug and tune an underperforming system, as well as troubleshoot hardware issues.Strong networking knowledge, including protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.DevOps engineering experience, understanding of CI/CD core aspects.Thorough understanding and experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with versioning control systems, such as Git.Hands-on experience with public and private clouds such as AWS, Openstack.Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Bachelor degree in CS or related field.Good communication skills, can-do attitude, and focus on results.Good spoken and written EnglishWill be a plusPython/Golang or any other major programming language skillsExperience with high load systemsExperience in troubleshooting K8S cluster issuesFamiliarity with code-review systems, like Gerrit or GerritHubFamiliarity with CI/CD systems, like JenkinsFamiliarity with Ansible or other Operating system configuration management toolExperience with Baremetal servers management
