The role
We are seeking a Product Manager for Health Care and Life Science to spearhead our expansion into the HC&LS vertical. In this role, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI/ML infrastructure and the unique needs of healthcare and life science organizations. You will own the product strategy for healthcare-specific AI solutions, working with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, medical device manufacturers, and healthcare providers to deliver GPU-accelerated cloud solutions that accelerate drug discovery, enhance medical imaging, and advance personalized medicine.
ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Development:
Define and execute the product roadmap for HC&LS solutions, aligning with Nebius's AI infrastructure capabilities and healthcare market needs
Own the full product lifecycle for 2-3 healthcare-focused AI/ML products, from conception to launch and optimization
Develop healthcare-specific use cases for our GPU infrastructure, including drug discovery pipelines, medical imaging analysis, and genomics workflows
Create technical requirements for IaaS and PaaS teams to support healthcare workloads while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Market & Customer Engagement:
Engage with CxO-level stakeholders at pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and healthcare providers to understand their AI infrastructure needs
Translate complex healthcare workflows into product requirements that leverage our GPU clusters and AI capabilities
Build relationships with key HC&LS customers to drive product adoption and gather continuous feedback
Represent Nebius at healthcare conferences and industry events
Cross-functional Leadership:
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure products meet healthcare-specific requirements for security, compliance, and performance
Partner with Solution Architects to design end-to-end scenarios for healthcare AI workloads
Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure products meet HIPAA, GDPR, FDA, and other regulatory requirements
Create comprehensive materials and onboarding guides for Sales and Solution Architecture teams focused on HC&LS customers
Technical Excellence:
Serve as the internal expert on healthcare AI/ML use cases and infrastructure requirements
Stay current with HC&LS industry trends including AI-driven diagnostics, personalized medicine, and healthcare consumerism
Evaluate and integrate healthcare-specific technologies with our cloud platform
Requirements
Experience:
3+ years of product management experience in the HC&LS sector or related field (pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices)
Proven track record of launching and managing AI/ML-driven products or healthcare technologies (e.g., genomics or drug discovery platforms, medical imaging solutions, clinical decision support systems)
Experience working with cloud platforms and GPU-based infrastructure for AI/ML workflows
Work experience in European or American based companies with global Healthcare and Life Sciences customers
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly in healthcare applications (medical imaging, clinical NLP, drug discovery, omics data analysis, and predictive modeling for diagnostics and treatment optimization)
Familiarity with healthcare-specific data pipelines and workflows (genomics, proteomics, clinical trials data)
Knowledge of distributed computing and GPU acceleration for large-scale healthcare and life sciences workloads
Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and data formats (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
Experience with healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, MDR) and data security best practices
Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of HC&LS market dynamics, including key players, emerging technologies, and regulatory landscape
Knowledge of specific HC&LS AI use cases: drug discovery, medical imaging analysis, precision medicine, clinical trial optimization, etc.
Familiarity with healthcare data challenges including privacy, consent management, and multi-site collaboration
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage both technical teams and C-level healthcare executives
Strong analytical and strategic thinking to identify market opportunities and translate them into product features
Leadership skills to inspire cross-functional teams and drive product vision
Empathy and user-focus to build products that truly serve healthcare professionals and patients
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments typical in healthcare settings
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field
Experience with specific healthcare AI frameworks and tools (e.g., MONAI for medical imaging, DeepChem for drug discovery)
Experience with healthcare and life science data orchestration tools such as Nextflow, Snakemake, or other pipeline frameworks used in bioinformatics and research computing
Familiarity with NVIDIA Clara platform or similar healthcare AI ecosystems
Background working directly with life sciences/biotech companies or institutions, healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, or regulatory bodies
Experience with Agile, PRINCE2, or Kanban methodologies in regulated environments
Multilingual capabilities (English plus French, German, or other languages) for global stakeholder engagement
Published research or thought leadership in healthcare AI/ML applications
Willingness and ability to travel internationally (US, Europe, APAC) to support customer engagement and industry events.ъ
