We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Functions, Dataverse, and with exposure to Generative AI (GenAI)solutions as part of the digital transformation of a financial services company.
The role focuses on building automated workflows, unified data platforms, and secure integrations, while progressively enabling AI-assisted automation, insights, and decision support using Azure OpenAI and related services.
This position is ideal for an engineer who understands business process automation first and can responsibly embed AI capabilities into enterprise-grade systems.
Key Responsibilities
Power Platform & Automation
- Design, build, and maintain Power Automate flows to integrate systems and automate business processes.
- Develop custom connectors and logic using Azure Functions.
- Build and enhance Canvas Apps to support operational workflows.
- Integrate AI-assisted actions in flows (e.g., summarization, classification, enrichment, validation).
Data Integration & Dataverse
- Design and implement a unified Dataverse-based data model consolidating multiple systems (CRM, financial platforms, task systems).
- Build data synchronization and enrichment pipelines, including AI-based metadata extraction and normalization.
- Implement governance, security roles, and lifecycle management in Dataverse.
- Support AI-ready data structures for downstream analytics and GenAI use cases.
- Manage data source integrations and third-party API implementations.
GenAI & Intelligent Automation
- Integrate Azure OpenAI / LLM services into workflows and applications for:
- Intelligent data summarization
- Client insights generation
- Context-aware automation
- Natural-language driven actions
- Design prompt strategies aligned with structured Dataverse data.
- Implement guardrails, validation, and monitoring for AI outputs.
- Collaborate on AI copilots, assistants, and decision-support features.
- Ensure AI solutions are secure, auditable, and compliant.
Deployment & Cloud Engineering
- Deploy and manage a range of Azure services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform and Azure resources.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud workloads.
- Support AI cost monitoring and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Canvas Apps).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, API Management, App Services.
- Proficiency in Dataverse data modeling and integration.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience various types of authentication (OAuth, SSO, etc.)
- Working knowledge of GenAI concepts and LLMs
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, system design, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Service.
- Familiarity with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF).
- Experience with Dynamics 365 environments.
- Knowledge of C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.
- Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI, and data privacy practices.
- Experience building AI-assisted workflows.
