We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of Web Operations to oversee the technical support, maintenance, and optimization of Acquia.com. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless, secure, and high-performing digital experience for our customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Drupal, robust project management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional web experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Website Operations & Maintenance


- Oversee the daily operations, uptime, and performance of Acquia.com.
- Manage and execute routine Drupal maintenance, updates, module installations, and technical enhancements with the support of the technical team.
- Monitor website health, security, and compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements, with a focus on Drupal security advisories and patches.

Technical Support


- Serve as the primary point of contact for Acquia.com related technical issues and troubleshooting of tickets and requests.
- Collaborate with Marketing and digital teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements specific to Acquia.com.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge bases for Drupal processes and troubleshooting guides such as content management, roles & permissions, content auditing, etc.

Project Management


- Lead and coordinate web projects, including new feature rollouts, redesigns, and integrations with Acquia.com.
- Manage timelines, resources, and development team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of key initiatives and OKRs.

Optimization & Innovation


- Analyze website analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement within Acquia.com for accessibility, seo, AI referrals, etc.
- Collaborate with Designers, Content Managers, and other marketing teams to optimize user experience and conversion rates on Acquia.com.
- Stay abreast of emerging Drupal modules, best practices, and web technologies to recommend strategic enhancements.

Team Leadership


- Manage and mentor a team of web specialists, Drupal developers, or third-party partners as required.
- Operate in a fast-paced Kanban based environment, managing requests from Asana and JIRA from organization members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation.

Qualifications


- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in web operations, web development, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience managing and maintaining websites on Drupal (Drupal 9/10 preferred).
- Strong understanding of Drupal infrastructure, module management, theming, hosting environments, security protocols, and performance optimization.
- Experience with web analytics, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards (WCAG) as applied to Drupal.
- Demonstrated project management skills; PMP or similar certification a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and with third-party vendors/partners, especially Drupal agencies or contractors.

Preferred Skills


- Familiarity with Acquia Cloud Hosting (AWS) for Drupal deployments.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git) in a Drupal environment.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with direct experience in Drupal theming and module development.
- Understanding of AI-driven web personalization and digital experience platforms, with an eye toward Drupal integration.
