Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to deliver high-quality services to internal stakeholders and customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong Linux and development skills. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require the ability to define solutions, improve services, and automate services and operational tasks. What to expect:


Automate system delivery in a high-velocity environment
Improve existing systems to improve reliability and delivery time
Work with the latest GPU hardware from AMD and NVIDIA
Define automation gaps to improve internal and customer-facing services
Work on virtualization improvements on both GPU and CPU hardware
Engage with multiple teams to achieve a common goal in delivering services to our customers
Transfer knowledge on how systems and automation work to enable our sales, support, and SA teams

 

Our new team member will need: 


High attention to detail
Vocal about improving and driving change
Strong knowledge of Linux and KVM virtualization
Ability to develop code in Python and PHP
Experience working with PXE, networking, and bare metal systems

 

Compensation

$90,000 - $110,000

This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
