Mercor is recruiting Economics Research Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.
You are a great fit if you:
- Have at least 1 year of experience working at top institutions in economics research (e.g. World Bank, IMF, Fed, Graduate Schools)
- Master / PhD in Economics
Here are more details about the role:
- You must be able to commit at least 10 hours per week for this role
- This is a minimum four week engagement
- Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor

Contract and Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
- Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
